It’s cold, wet, and rainy. As much as I love fall, I hate that deep bone chill it can leave you with. You know the one…only a steamy shower will warm you up, and sometimes, even that isn’t enough. Especially the day after getting back from Napa. Where it was 80 and sunny. I knew I wanted to make something fun for dinner with it being my first night back and all.

This one’s for you, Bob…

Ever have one of those moments, where a brilliant idea hits you from way out in left field? I had one the other night. I was in bed, out cold, when suddenly, I woke up with a delicious recipe in my head. For the past couple of weeks, I have had a lot of my friends ask me for vegetarian options. I love meat. I love cooking with meat. I love eating meat. I love meat. Done. But I also love my friends, and I love doing things for them, which is how this yumminess was born.
