Steaming Up The Kitchen…
Wanna know what I did this weekend? That’s okay, I’m telling you anyway! I spent this past Memorial Day making guacamole, grilled fish tacos, tuna poke, sweet honey chipotle chicken skewers, and tres leches cake with a vanilla bean hand whipped whipped cream. Oh, and margaritas. Lots of margaritas.

While I’m a little disappointed we didn’t spend the day lounging by a pool, soaking in the rays, starting to tan places that haven’t seen the sunshine since last September, I’d say spending the better part of the day in the kitchen cooking was well worth it. Know why? Check out these pictures!!!!
I wish I could take credit for these amazing photos, but all I did was cook everything and helped style it. A friend of mine is a photographer who wants to build his food photography portfolio, so who am I to say no to that? Of course I wanted to help a friend out and it definitely makes my food look a little more appetizing!

Savor these photos (recipes to follow) with an ice cold, hand shaken, margarita (while laying by the pool tanning the parts that haven’t seen the sun in awhile).
